Bylaws
Our HOA Bylaws, formally known as Bylaws for Blackpool Homeowners Association, Inc., detail additional requirements on the organization and operation of the HOA and its Board of Directors.
Among other elements, the Bylaws establish terms and conditions regarding our HOA, including:
- Purposes and requirements
- Membership and voting
- Meetings including both the annual and special meetings
- Board organization, structure, elections, and officers
- Notifications to and communications with homeowners
- Maintenance of reports and records
With the approval of a majority of home/lot owners, the Bylaws can be amended. The current Bylaws were amended in October 2023 by a majority vote of Blackpool HOA homeowners and officially recorded with Sussex County on November 1, 2023.
The Bylaws build upon the responsibilities and requirements established in the original HOA Certificate of Incorporation.
