Covenants
Our HOA Covenants are officially known as the Declaration of Covenants, Restrictions and Easements for the Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club II, Blackpool Homeowner Association Inc, Covering Phases 6, 7, 8 and 9.
Our current Covenants were approved by Blackpool HOA members in October 2023, and as legally enforceable terms and conditions, were officially filed with the State of Delaware on November 1, 2023.
It is important that all homeowners familiarize themselves with the terms, conditions and requirements of the Covenants. While striving to honor and protect the rights and privileges of individual homeowners, the Covenants establish obligations and restrictions governing all homeowners and the community at large on a wide range of issues, including:
- Residential uses and limitations
- Lot maintenance requirements and prohibitions
- Architectural requirements, including Architectural Review Committee (ARC) review and approval
- Building restrictions and standards
- Construction requirements
- Use of waterways
- Easements
- Covenant enforcement, including fines and penalties, as well as legal remedies
